The Atlanta Falcons are ready to reward wide receiver Taylor Gabriel for last season’s breakout campaign.
Gabriel, a restricted free agent, was given a second-round tender worth $2.81 million Friday by the Falcons, according to AJC.com. This means Atlanta gets first refusal on any offer, but would receive a second-round pick as compensation should it accept a matched offer.
In other words, the Falcons should be safe in keeping their speedy offensive weapon who stepped up for Matt Ryan last season after a disappointing tenure with the Browns.
Gabriel finished last season with 35 catches for 579 yards and six touchdowns. He caught nine passes in the playoffs with a 19 yards-per-catch average.
Not bad a for a guy who went unselected in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Harvey-Clemons: I grew up in a small town in Georgia and everyone cared about football. I started playing basketball early, but in my town, football was everything. Football kind of grew on me, and I had a great coach in Coach (Randy) McPherson in high school and he helped me get recruited.
Coming to Georgia was awesome, but I unfortunately had some issues there Cheap NFL Jerseys and didn’t really show who I was. Coming from my area, I had a tough transition at Georgia and Cheap Authentic MLB Jerseys I’ve grown a lot since then.
